He was born in Bridgeport, CT on July 1, 1943 to the late Corona (Stefani) and Tulio Gandini of Caprino Veronese, Italy. He was raised in Fairfield, CT.
He joined the US Army Reserves in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1969. He was very proud to have served his country.
His career took him from Deluxe Check Printers in Framingham, MA, then to Dennison Mfg. in Sydney, Australia where he lived for 4 years. From 1988 to 2014 he co-owned and operated Label Identification Corporation in Hopedale, MA with his business partner.
He resided in Holliston, MA for 30 years where he raised his family before retiring to Brewster, MA in 2010. He had a great love for family, friends, golf, his Corvette and his garden. He enjoyed watching the birds at the many feeders from his deck, as well as chastising the squirrels when needed. He was a dedicated volunteer. While in Holliston he volunteered at the High School Boosters Club, the Holliston Food Pantry and the local cable access TV. Then on Cape Cod he devoted his time to Cape Abilities Farm in Dennis.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Audrey (Cameron), his son Andrew with his wife Jennifer (Shapiro) of Hobe Sound, FL, his son Stefan with his wife Melissa (Vengrow) and his granddaughter Juliana of Hudson, MA, his daughter Lori of Norwalk, CT, and his sister Jean (Maier) of Fairfield, CT. He was preceded by his brother Richard. He was loved by all of his many nieces and nephews

There will be no visitation and a limited attendance funeral mass at Our Lady Of The Cape in Brewster, MA on Friday December 4th at 11am. A celebration of his life will be held when it is safe to do so.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Brookline, MA or Cape Abilities Farm in Dennis, MA.
