Sarah Hyslop

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ronald Hyslop; her son, Peter Hyslop and his wife Margret of Barton, VT; her daughter, Janice Flagg and her husband Clinton of Dennis, MA; granddaughters, Abigail Kohut and her husband Charles of Sumter, SC, Alexsandra Jenner and her husband Nicholas, of Alfred, ME; and great-grandchildren, Colton and Mason Kohut, and Savannah Jenner. She is also survived by her brother, William F. Hutton, III and his wife Grace of CT; her sister, Barbara H. Nichols of NJ; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Fowler Hutton, Jr. and Lorena Evans Hutton; and her sister Lorena (Lolly) Evans Hutton.

Sarah was born on April 17, 1935 in Bridgeport, CT. She graduated from Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT and Bridgeport Hospital with a degree in Nursing. She was a member of the Azalea Chapter of the Eastern Star for over 75 years.

Ron and Sarah have had residences in Connecticut, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, South Carolina, Vermont, and Massachusetts. They traveled extensively in their Condo To Go Motor Home as well as enjoyed many cruises.

Sarah’s family would like to thank Seaside Home Care and Broadreach Hospice for their loving support on her final journey.

A Celebration of Sarah's life will be held at Heatherwood at Kings Way in Yarmouth Port on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
