For 53 wonderful years, Vincent gave all his love to his marvelous wife, Barbara (Saia) Fountaine.
Vincent is survived by his three siblings, Marilyn Luby of Florida, Dennis Fountaine of Colorado and Paul Fountaine of Dorchester, MA.
He is also survived by his daughter Patricia (Fountaine) Snyder and her husband Richard of Stoughton, MA, His son’s Vincent Mark Fountaine III and his wife Kim of Scituate, MA, Michael Fountaine and his wife Annette of Middleboro, MA, Robert Fountaine and his wife Jill of Pittsburgh, PA and Timothy Fountaine of Dennis, MA. He was also a proud grandfather of ten and great grandfather of two.
Vincent was a long tenured worker of New England Telephone for 30 years. He also served in the United States Marine Corp and was one of the founders of the Field of Honor at Johnny Kelley Park in Dennis, MA. He spent most of his retired years giving back to those who served.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 2-5pm, in the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, SOUTH DENNIS. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 12th, at 11:30am in the Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at 2pm, in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne.
