

It is with profound sadness that the family of William McClymont announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Hyannis, Massachusetts, at the age of 89.
Born in Brooklyn on April 25, 1936, to Anne and William McClymont, He was a man of great integrity, known for his strong dedication, love of animals and sense of humor.
He was a devoted husband to Carol McClymont for 66 years, father to William and grandfather to Emma.
He was proud to serve in the US Army in Korea after the war. He retired early from New York Telephone where he worked for over 20 years where he was respected for his work ethic and perfect attendance.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Lee Anne. He is survived by his sister Nancy and brother Michael as well as their spouses and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, Massachusetts on Thursday, December 4th, from 3 PM to 6 PM.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Church 246 Main Street, West Harwich, Massachusetts on Friday, December 5th, 2025 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cape Cod in his memory.
Billy will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will live forever in our hearts.
