Danny graduated from South Gate High School, and participated in the football and track team. He had a passion for football and sports. He was the biggest fan of the USC Trojan team.
His first part time job during his senior year was working for Lucky’s Market as a box boy. His career launched from box boy to Assistant Store Director and served Lucky’s / Albertsons for 28 years. Danny’s biggest dream “aspiration” was to become a Store Director.
Danny is survived by two wonderful boys Daniel (21) and Matthew (17) and one beautiful niece (Sarah) and nephew (Christian). Danny was about to embark into a new life with his beloved fiancée Cathy. He had plans to propose to Cathy sometime during this year. Indeed this was the happiest time of his life, because he had found his true love.
Danny was a loving human being who was always willing to help others and do for others. He gave back to his community and embraced those in time of need. He gave to charities and volunteered his time to assist families who were in need. He donated his time, food and educational supplies to all children who were in need.
There were many of us who cherished him and his friendship. We felt honored to have known him. He always embraced you with a comforting smile to let you know that you were a friend of his. His smile brought joy and comfort to many faces. His laughter brought contentment too many lives. Danny was a happy, jolly and gentle giant that left a small grain of salt in each of us. He will be missed forever but will always remain in spirit and remain in our hearts forever.
We love you,
Mom, Poncho, Nena, Daniel, Mathew, Sarah, Christian, Earnest, Cathy and Ashley
