Your home was the home I lived at the least out of all my foster homes yet your home was my favorite. I remember the day you said “well why don’t you come live here” after I was having trouble at my previous home around the corner. It was my 11th grade year and in all my homes I had never laughed so freely and felt at peace. You gave every child that came through your home a chance to be a kid again despite our problems. You and Bob showed us what it looked like to have a healthy marriage, what it looked like to work for love, and to have a partner who would wake up everyday and tackle the day together in laughter.  Everyday wasn’t perfect, you were raising a house full of teenagers and young kids but you made it look so easy the way you loved us and guided us through those years. I thank you for the lasting memories, for the home of love, for always opening your heart to those who had trouble at home, or those that just wanted to hang. I thank you for welcoming in all of our friends to the dinner table. It wasn’t a day at the Watsons unless some random school friend was walking in tow yelling “Hey grandma!”.  Thank you for raising such wonderful grandchildren that we had so many belly roll  laughing memories. And when we fought as children do you and Bob took us on well. You are the definition of “making a house a home” of “family is where  your heart is”. I will always be grateful to you for reaching out and giving me a chance when you could’ve passed me up and let me go to the next foster home. You will be missed by so many of us and I hope that through our lives we can honor you by taking a piece of you and putting it back into the world.

No words describe how much of a positive impact you've had in my life. I will forever have you in my heart. You showed me and so many other teen girls what unconditional love was. We became family in your home. Thank you for guiding me to be the woman I am today. I will forever cherish what you've done for me.  I love you MOM!

Grandma , this week has been and will be one of the hardest by far . But I know you will be greatly celebrated and deeply remembered and you’re not gone , even though I wish you were still here physically I know you’ll always be with me in spirit. To have a Grandma like you made life a whole lot sweeter, you have one of the biggest most selfless hearts I’ve ever seen and you love every single person unconditionally there was not a bad bone in you .  Thank you for all that you have done , we have a bond that will never be broken you took me shopping for my prom dresses , took me to every event I had in High School , you supported me always . You took me to all my DR appointments with little Vic and drove me to the hospital when my water broke . When I turned 21 and celebrated on weekends as a lot of us 21’s did lol I would come home hung over from having so much “ fun “ and you never judged me even though I looked terrible , you would always serve me a bowl of menudo and if there was none you would ask if I wanted you to go to the store . I love you Grandma, you have always been an Angel on earth such a huge blessing . God seen you and knew you were tired of fighting here physically and I’m sure he needed you up there to make things a whole lot sweeter. There are no words Grandma because it’s almost like a bad dream but to see you smiling in pictures and thinking about all the great times we had to together and the laughs we shared . I know you’re at peace and you left us all with so many great memories, fun holidays celebrations and big boots to feel . I love you and I miss you so much . 🖤

Dear Grandma, 

We miss you so much, we love you eternally, and we cherish you forever. All the beautiful memories and laughs you brought into so many lives. Growing up across the street from you and calling your grandkids my cousins, that's more than a memory I'll forever hold. It was a blessing. You made us feel safe, you toughened us out to meet better potentials in ourselves. You had the greatest ability to guide us into a positive direction. You were more than our grandma, you were our angel on Earth. I know for a fact, you haven't left us. I know God opened his gates right away, and the angels spoke of your coming. You are at peace, we miss your physical presence, but we know, you're still here with us all.

Hi , I’m, Christine Connor and I was touched by an Angel, Matilda Watson on the day of my wedding. After telling her all of the preparations I had made for my motorcycle wedding including decorations down to the catering, I asked her to come. She declined as she had the boys and it was such a far drive. I was sad but I understood. An hour before the wedding the caterer called and said he wouldn’t be coming! My sister said “it’s OK. The guests are here for the wedding.. you have PLENTY of beer and cake, They are here to see the two of you get married ❤️ After the wedding ceremony, I was walking back to the bridge and there were Bob and Matilda having set up food and drinks for everyone. How could they have known!!! She was serving out plates. You may not see them . but I could see her wings for the Angel she was. I will always love and remember you Matilda 💕

Grandma Matilda was my foster mom. She always treated me like family. I will never forget her unwavering love. She helped so many kids over the years. I love you Grandma Matilda forever.

My Mom was there for the birth of our first Grandson, Her first Greatt grandson Victor.

Love you and miss you grama and appreciate all the good things you did for everyone even when you couldn’t help your self you would always be helping someone else out.
