Esther Mary Jane Davidson, 93, born on July 10, 1927, was reunited with her Lord and Savior Jesus as she died on Wednesday October 21, 2020 at Phoebe Wyncote, PA. Her beloved husband of 63 years George S. Davidson preceded her in death.
Born in Philadelphia to Robert William and Esther Ann (Long) Decker, Esther spent most of her adult life in Southampton, PA but most recently lived in Newtown, PA. She is survived by Diane Stadelmeier (Stephen), Joan Hamel (Thomas), George S. Davidson, Jr. and James Davidson (Sheila); five grandchildren, and her six great grandchildren, who all greatly enjoyed her sense of humor.
She was a life-long avid reader who also had a love of life and had a gift for fellowship that live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
There will be a memorial service on November 14 which will be limited to family due to the coronavirus at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to and would be welcomed at The City School, 910 N.6th Street Philadelphia 19123.
