I just found out of Jeff’s passing. I was a classmate at Hahnemann Medical School. We played on our class basketball team and won school championship. I have not been in touch with Jeff but was looking forward to seeing him at our 50th reunion. I remember Jeff as an excellent student and a great classmate. I am so saddened to find out.

Dr Brecher was my doctor for 29 years and then my husband’s physician for 14+  years.  A remarkable doctor who took the time with every visit.   We  recall conversations about Penn State and  coffee.   We are saddened by your loss and offer our deepest condolences as we just heard the news.   God bless his soul.  

It felt like yesterday when I last saw Jeff Brecher. We'd spent over an hour catching up since we last spoke.  He asked what I was doing at the time and made me smile when he recalled a new graduate LPN; green, sitting in ICU with Mary Pat; asking a million questions to them both and proud I had gone back to school for my graduate degree and then my MBA/MHA. Then our conversation turned to the grandkids.  The Brecher smile never left his face. That was a good day... He loved his family and life... He lived life well.
My deepest Condolences to his family.  I wish you peace and comfort as you grieve.


I am so very sad to hear today of Jeff's passing on October 1, 2020.  He was my doctor for 35+years and a friend.  I remember I was amazed--though he deserved it-- when he told me he was retiring, effective in June of last year.  I saw him shortly before that and he looked great.  He was a great doctor, compassionate, approachable and comprehensive.  He will be missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Brecher. He was my doctor for 30 years. We always talked about our love if music, and folk music. He helped me through some of the most difficult time's of my life. He be was an outstanding doctor, and even better human being. My deepest condolences to the entire Brecher family 🙏

I worked with  Dr. Brecher for 25 years at Warminster Hospital and was shocked to recently learn of his passing.  His loss to medicine and to his family and the multitude of patients he cared about cannot be overstated.  His presence in the hospital represented the very best, not only of medical practice, but of human behavior as well. He was an example to all of us on how to care for and demonstrate that caring to those we were privileged to work with. My sincerest expression of sympathy goes out to his execptional family who can take pride that their husband and father contributed to the building of the world.

Adelyn, we are saddened and heartbroken beyond belief.  We are so fortunate to have been able to have the pleasure of meeting and spending time with Jeff in 2011.  He made you feel as if you had known him your whole life.  You could feel and see his compassion from the moment you met him with that contagious smile of his. Dr. Brecher was my husband’s, son’s, and my family physician for the past 38 years. He was always a kind and compassionate man.  He was looking forward to his retirement to spend time with his family, traveling, and listening to his music.  He even spoke of DJing for a local radio station. He will be missed by all.

My late wife and I met Jeff and Adelyn when we moved across the hall from them. What wonderful neighbors. We used to enjoy Jeff’s description of apartment life as “living the dream”. He was always upbeat and  and just a really good guy. My heart goes out to Adelyn.

The last time we spoke he was sooo excited to retire  and traveling  he boasted about his kids and grandkids. I worked with  Jeff for many years.  He was our family doctor and a great friend ! My husband would see him for a check up  and he loved going so the two of them could talk  sports !  ( the Eagles!  )

Dr. Brecher was an esteemed member of our Warminster Hospital family as well as my personal physician for many years. He was always upbeat, caring and a truly nice man. The world is a sadder place without him. My sincere condolences to his family. I know he will be sorely missed by many.

My husband Norm and I were long-term patients of Dr Brecher since early 1990’s. 
Norm and this wonderful man sat and discussed sports during our visits. There was never any rush through visits. Dr Brecher was thorough and really cared about our welfare. If we had any angst about a health issue, we would always get a return call the same day. Our fears were always allayed. 
Our hearts are heavy learning about his death. We are grieving as if we lost a long time friend. Our condolences go to his family whom he adored. 


I was a classmate of Jeff's at Central High. He was one of the nicest persons that I ever met. We became friends during our junior year there, and played a lot of pickup touch football and basketball, almost always on the same team. My favorite memory of Jeff is when during one of those touch football games, I threw him a long pass, and while he was running full tilt to catch it, the string on his sweat pants broke, and the pants fell down around his feet. Somehow, he still managed to catch the ball and make it over the goal line, with the pants still down. He played the rest of the game holding his pants up with one hand, yet, in a remarkable display of athleticism, he still managed to catch more passes with the other one. 
After graduation, we went our separate ways, and only saw each other once or twice, but I will never forget Jeff and his kind nature. I hope the above story brings some small comfort to Jeff's family.

He was my doctor for over 25 years and took exceptional care of me, always answering my myriad questions.  We discussed all of tv’s medical dramas, which he had no time to watch but The Good Doctor intrigued him and he promised he would watch it.   When a dear friend developed AML and was placed in Sloan-Kettering,  he assured me it was the best place for her disease.   I will forever be grateful for his kindness and exceptional care.  His loss just breaks my heart.  He should have had many years to enjoy his retirement.  My prayers go out to his family whom I know he cherished.   He was a rare man and a physician who truly cared and his loss will be felt for a long time.
