John McCauley

John McCauley died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at his residence. He was 82 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late William and Clara Freeman McCauley. He was a longtime resident of Feasterville.

Mr. McCauley was a retired employee of General Motors in Bensalem. John also worked at Sears in Philadelphia. He was a member of the UAW, Local 2177. He was a Navy veteran. John was a train enthusiast, and a collector of political buttons. He was an avid sports fan.

John was the beloved husband of Mary J. Laudeman McCauley for 56 years. He was the devoted father of Janice L. McCauley of Croydon, Cynthia L. Babecki (Benz) of Gilbertsville, Jacqueline Kay Leifholtz (William) of Philadelphia, and John J. McCauley (Kimberly) of Feasterville. He was the loving grandfather of Joshua, Gregory, and Alyssa Babecki, William and Rebekah Leifholtz. He was the brother of the late William and James McCauley.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 27th from 10 to 11 AM at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, Street Road & 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. His memorial service will follow at 11 AM.

A private interment will take place at Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA at a later date.
