Born on March 5, 1946 in Philadelphia, he was the fourth of six children of the late Joseph P. Cole, Sr. and the late Ann M. Cole. He was a resident of Bucks County for 30 years.
Joseph was a Vietnam Veteran who served his country in the Department of the Navy. He was a union carpenter who often served as a counter with Our Lady of Good Counsel. Among his many hobbies were fishing, sports, and gardening.
Joseph will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Carol, his children, Jill (Danny), Joe, and Dan, and his granddaughter Aya. He will also be missed by his sister, Peg, his brothers, Tom and Dennis, and his large and loving extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:15 AM until 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966, with Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
