Mary Ann Gould, 74, a former resident of Richboro, PA, died on March 1 after an extended illness. Daughter of the late Joseph and Carole Gould, Mary Ann was born on July 10, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy and the University of Rochester.
Mary Ann was a nationally recognized expert on quality, systems improvement and managing change in corporate settings. She worked with the renowned quality expert, Dr. W. Edward Deming in addressing how corporations could optimize their manufacturing operations.
At the age of 31, Mary Ann was the CEO of Janbridge Inc., a Philadelphia PA based electronics manufacturing company.
Mary Ann was also very active in the Philadelphia business community, including ten years as director of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and eight years on the executive committee.
Mary Ann was proud of her volunteer work as co-founder and chair of the Coalition for Voting Integrity, Civil Rights and Social Action.
Mary Ann is survived by her brothers Joseph (Theresa) of River Vale NJ, Francis (Deborah) of Oak Bluffs, MA, William (Kathleen) of Humble TX, and Robert (Aileen) of Coatesville PA and nieces, nephews and grand-nephews.
Arrangements for a private burial are being made by William Rowen Grant Funeral Home in Southampton PA.
