Priscilla N. Colby

Polly was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to parents, Russell and Esther Glennon. She graduated from Newington High School. Polly continued her education, graduating from Ohio University with a BA degree in Elementary Education. Polly went on to work in many areas including substitute teaching, working at the IRS seasonally, and as Church Secretary for Feasterville Baptist Church. In addition, Polly was a homemaker and cared for many of her grandchildren.

Polly was an active member of Davisville Church. She hosted and started many bible studies in her home. She had many hobbies including photography, painting, playing her violin and sewing.

Polly was kind, caring, and generous sharing her faith and gift of hospitality with many people throughout the years.

Polly was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry J. Colby IV.

Polly is survived by children; Sharon Powell (Dave), Kim Haggerty (Russell), Henry J. Colby V (Donna), her grandchildren; Tyler Powell (Margaret), Cassandra Flegeal (Corry), Shannon Dillon (Christopher), Colby Haggerty (Ashley Michini), Carley Haggerty, Leah Colby (Dave Lomberg), Henry J. Colby VI (Kimberly) and great grandchildren; Isla, Blaise, Sielle, Paige, Coltan, Leona, Turner, Sylvan, Simone, Henry J. VII.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, February 22nd at Davisville Church, 325 E. Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Visitation: 2:00 P.M. Memorial Service 3:00 P.M.
