Rita Eileen Rosemill

8 October, 1933 – 8 December, 2025
IN THE CARE OF

Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home Inc.

Rita Eileen Clancy Rosemill, 92, of Satellite Beach, Florida, died on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Southampton Estates Continuing Care Retirement Community in Southampton, PA.

Born on October 8, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA to Anna Bella Devlin Clancy and John S Clancy, first generation Irish immigrants, she was a graduate of J. W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia.

Rita leaves her children, Dorie (Tom) Nicoletto of Elburn, IL, and Joanne Regan of Satellite Beach, FL and grandchildren Lisa (Chris) Knuth, Michelle Nicoletto (Joe Sciarra, Jr.), and Caitlin (Taylor) Buckley. She was “GG” to Deacon Knuth, and Michael, Sully, and Emmett Buckley.

Rita was predeceased by daughter Kathy Regan, husband Louis Rosemill, sisters Annamay King, Claire Coleman, E. Jane Ruane, brothers John “Jack” Clancy, and Vincent Clancy. She was the last of her generation.

Rita raised her three daughters as a single mother on a tight budget but managed to meet their needs, and holiday outfits (including 60’s era hats and white gloves), by often working two jobs and frequently volunteering for overtime hours.

She moved to Satellite Beach in 1972 and eventually owned her coveted pool home after she and Louis married. Her final years were spent in a return to the Philadelphia area where she received excellent care by the staff of the Acts Retirement Life Communities and local family members. Rita’s service and interment will be private. If you wish to memorialize Rita, please lavish a nearby senior citizen with their favorite sweets.
