Roy E Spaeth

Roy E. Spaeth died on Tuesday November 15, 2011. He was 89 years of age. Roy was a resident of Twining Village in Holland, PA for the past 15 years. He had previously lived in Southampton from 1951.

Roy was a retired employee of McCleery’s Tire Service in Southampton. He had also worked at several other Southampton businesses. Mr. Spaeth was an Army veteran of WW II. He was a founding member of the Warminster Baptist Church and had served the Church as an Elder.

Roy was the beloved husband of Barbara Rusling Spaeth for 39 years before her death in 1985. He was the devoted father of Robin Ann (David) Ingram of New Rochelle, NY. He was the loving grandfather of Arthur, Brian, Jason, Joshua, Daniel, Lucas Ingram, and Carolyn Schodt; great grandfather of Lowell Nottage and Dylan Schodt. He is also survived by his sisters Joan Marshall and Dorothy Ryan; his brother in-laws Reverend William Marshall and Edward Muska.

His service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Financial Aid Fund of the Horace Mann School, 231 West 246th Street, Bronx, NY 10471 or the Warminster Baptist Church, 709 Norristown Road Warminster, PA 18974.
