Papa- a loving devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, was born June 19th, 1961 in Circleville, OH. His most precious time spent was with his family whom he is survived by, his wife of 45 years, Annette Ellen Clagg, who he deeply loved, spent his life with building a family, and all the while sharing that “once in a lifetime love”; his two sons, Bryan Wayne Clagg ll, Bruce (Katrina) Clagg; three grandchildren, Allyssah, Bruce II, and Xander; three great-grandchildren, Kohen, Presley, and Annah; and a sister, Rhonda Ann Good.
Papa spent 22 and a half years serving our country in the Army. After retiring from the military he worked civil service. He was a respectful, respected, and honorable man.
He had a gift for making people feel understood and valued. Whether it was a bold statement of wisdom, a joke to lighten the moment, or a hug of reassurance. Papa always showed up when you needed him, without hesitation. In this life he found joy in the simple things; time with family, joking around sarcastically, and a good cup of coffee.
His legacy lives on in those he loved. Who will never stop loving him, missing him, and keeping his memory alive in everything they do. His presence was steady, his love was constant, and his absence will be deeply felt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the VFW Post 10400, located at 3161 George II Hwy SE, Southport, NC 28461 on July 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
