She was born in Newark, NJ on September 1, 1937 the daughter of the late Albert Nash Clifton and Margaret Irons Schutz Clifton.
Carol loved her family dearly and cherished their time together. She loved to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Surviving are her husband of over 66 years, Raymond D. Rood of the home; two daughters, Lorraine McAuley and husband, Joseph of Hardeeville, SC and Carol Snyde of Southport, NC; two grandchildren, Ryan McAuley and Michael McAuley; several Nieces and Nephews and a special pet "Bentley"; she cherished her special friends at Arbor Creek.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
