Dorothy Mary Chomicki, 96 of Boiling Spring Lakes, passed peacefully into Heaven on September 1, 2019.

Survivors include her three sons, Michael (Debbie) Chomicki of Soutbport, Frank (Lynda) Chomicki of Phoenix, AZ and Harry (Pat) Chomicki of Commack, NY; two daughters, Annamarie Chomicki of Boiling Spring Lakes, and Marianne Turco of Southport; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Chomicki was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Chomicki, her son Edward Rykowski, Jr., her daughter Sandra Chomicki, her granddaughter Jessica Bedell, and her grandson Harry Chomicki, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Bolivia.

A celebration of life and legacy will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:30 at Ocean View United Methodist Church on Oak Island.

(Mas Great granddaughter) who sang one of her favorite songs at the service
( When Irish Eyes are Smiling). You have a voice like an angel . It’s so beautiful. As your Mother mentioned ,I’m sure Nana gave you some inspiration ( at least , we’ll give her some credit). I know you work hard to achieve your beautiful voice. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Just want to thank everyone who attended our Celebration of Life for Dorothy Chomicki today . It was sad and joyous at the same time. Special thanks to Pastor Rick, we so appreciate your reflection on Mas life and of course your guidance in prayer. Thank you to Greg your music was beautiful and I know Ma heard it too. .Thank you Marianne your efforts and love are never ending, you did a wonderful job. Diane, my words cannot express how lovely and heartfelt your stories of Ma( Nana etc) were. I remember every story you told and felt every experience you spoke of as if I was there. Thank you for that and thank you for sharing the feelings of The Chomicki’s West and their love for Ma. I know they were broken hearted not to be with us. Of course Thank you Annamarie, you did a beautiful job on the collage and your love for Ma and memories will always be with you. Thank you everyone who came to show Ma love . Of course all our family, Billy, Jay, Paul, (her caregivers), Joy, Sherry and Jerry, Bob. Love 💕 you all. I know Ma is sending Love and reminding all of us to drive safely.🤗🤗🤗
