Mrs. Thomas was born May 22, 1934 in Mecklenburg County to the late Walter and Madge Pearl Montjoy. She loved her family, was a great cook, and enjoyed bingo. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Jackson Thomas, a son Jackson Thomas, Jr., a daughter Deborah Rose, and eleven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son Gary Thomas and wife Melissa of Wellington, Florida, a daughter Loretta Davis and husband Chris of Boiling Spring Lakes, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a private family service.
