Lorraine Egan “Pat” Gibson, 92 of Boiling Spring Lakes, passed away on December 18, 2016. Mrs. Gibson was born September 7, 1924 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Egan. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Red Hat Society, and the Boiling Spring Lakes Community Center. Mrs. Gibson retired in 1992 from Syracuse Savings Bank where she worked for 20 years. Preceding her in death was her husband Harold James Gibson; a brother James Egan; and a sister Evelyn Brown.
Survivors include her son, Gary Gibson and wife Marianne of Lafayette, NY; her daughter Georgann Purtell and husband Craig of Boiling Spring Lakes; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Reverend Trent Watts officiating. Burial will follow in New York at a later date.
