With heavy hearts, we announce, Mary Elizabeth Frame, of St. James, North Carolina, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on June 20, 2025, at the age of 86. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, known for sharing her sweet smile, delicious apple cake, and her passion for gardening.
Her early creative outlets included sewing, teaching herself to cook through Galloping Gourmet recipe cards, antique hunting, and Jazzercise. Later in life she developed a talent for drawing and painting.
Over the years she and her family spent time living in Livonia, MI, Lancaster, CA, Canyon Lake, CA and finally in St. James, NC, where she and Walt spent their retirement.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Walter G. Frame, Jr.; children, Francene K. Frame, and Lisa Bermea; and grandchildren, Erin T. Ureno and Salvador Ureno, Andrew Bermea and Tori Bermea.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
