

Mr. Rosendahl was born December 20, 1948, in Norwalk, CT, son of the late Bert and Helen Rosendahl.
Matt started piano lessons at the age of six which sparked his love of music. He graduated from Gettysburg College majoring in voice and music education and began a lengthy career teaching chorus to middle and high school students. He also worked as an organist and choir director in churches in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina for 49 years, retiring from those duties in January 2023. His hobbies included woodworking, golf, fishing and bugging Victoria 😊.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Rosendahl; a daughter, Arla Joyner and husband Jay; two brothers, Tim Rosendahl and wife Jacquie and Joel Rosendahl; brother-in law and sister-in law Ross Dolan and Janet Dolan and family; sister-in-law Terry Dolan and family; two granddaughters, Sky Stewart and Anna Carper; two grandsons by choice, Griff Harlow and Alan Ross; and cousins, Deb Green and husband John, Anita Johnson, Clay Hansen, Gary Hansen and Michael Hansen and families.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Church of The Servant in Wilmington, North Carolina.
