Mr. Milks was born March 31, 1949 to the late Richard Paul Milks, Sr. and Millie Fletcher Milks. He was a graduate of Madison – Mayodan High School and spent six years in the US Coast Guard. He was retired from Triad Freightliner.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Hodge; a son Richard Paul Milks, III and his wife Leeanne; a grandson Peyton Milks; a granddaughter, Bailey Anne Milks; a step-son, Robert C. Hodge II; three step-grandson Timothy Hodge, Alex Hodge, and Joshua Hodge; two step-great-grandchildren, Levi Hodge and Kenadie Hodge.
