I met Sheila and her warmth instantly had me saying yes to becoming her caregiver.  We bonded like a new born with a mother.  We went on a journey for her , she hated every minute of my saying Sheila you can’t have that, but she took the ride and told me she’s going to find me a boyfriend so I can leave her alone,  I would say I’m trying to keep you away from the Drs and she would say “I don’t need a Dr I need a boyfriend”.  That was her for me, full of humor.  

My forever second mother, I love and miss her, as for five years, I never took a vacation, didn’t want to leave her on anyone’s care.  

Although Sheila had Craig, Lori and Susan, Sheila and I spent 5years as a couple who understood each other needs and it worked great.   I had the opportunity to have had a second mother that I could be with until the end.
