Oh! Kay, Aunt Kay, Miss Kay, what a shock! I have been trying to no avail to reach you since last year. Phone calls, emails etc...  what are way to find out you are no more with us. Latter part of last year I resorted to praying for you everyday because I could not reach you, so that God will keep you. Suddenly, you came to mind so strongly again so, I finally hit the internet in search of you and there was your obituary. Sad! You were instrumental in first visit to the U.S.  You were my friend, mother and sister, but distance did not allow this connection too well. You loved deeply and I love you with all my heart. How I was planning to visit you on my next trip. My heart is heavy at this moment. Miss Kay, I will surely miss you. I have always had your photo on my dresser and see you everyday as a way to keep the bond. Oh, what a shock! Rest well in God's bossom.

Aunty Kay, you left and you didn't tell me what our connection meant. You started the journey before me, left the signs, and gave me so many hints.
But, Iwanted you to meet me over here though, we would have spoken about your journey and mine, and then I would ask you to tell me what it all meant.
That book you gave me became my 'book of life', and I promise you, I will finish reading it and continue to use it as my guide. I will always hear your voice encouraging me.
Aunty, may your heart be found as light as the feather of Maat, may your trip on the boat go smoothly across, and may you be received with jubilation for a job well done. Sleep in perfect peace. Always in my heart.


To Ms. Kay, GOD Bless you. I didn't get the the pleasure of meeting you before your transiting. However, my wonderful extended Jamacian Sistah, Marcia Miller shared so many exciting memories of You. You will be missed tremendously by all. May GOD continue blessing your family and the living presence of Miss Kay. 

KAY-MISS KAY how sweet the  years have been.  When ever I came to Florida you always have different food or places you have been to introduce me to.  I will miss that big Smile of yours when you  say JOY  how are you?.

I know your in a better place. You are having a blast with Auntie Yvonne , Auntie Marva, Grandma and Grandpa. They are spoiling you with love. 
I am sad because the family and the world lost a special person, full of life, loving and supportive free spirited queen. This is who you were and this is what I will remember and treasure. You were instrumental in my life. Shortstop I love you with all my heart, I will miss you especially your laugh when I called you short stop. Until we see each other again you will forever be in my ♥️ heart. 

I remember when my aunt used to take us to the zoo, horseback riding everything. You were such and inspiration to me as a child. I love ❤️ you so much. Always your niece. Lorna and love 💕 from the Horton Family. SIP my dear.

OH How i loved ❤ my Auntie Kay,And she knew it ,Bcuz I always let her know,Auntie Kay was my go to Auntie, I can tell her anything.Auntie Kay was always with us when we lived in New York,Even when she Moved to Florida the Very 1st time I was with her,Auntie Kay was so Full of Life,and Lived,freely,Auntie Kay was Real,Very Smart and Spontaneous, Auntie Kay,I ❤ U So Very Much,I will miss u
