A. Elaine Larsen, 80, of Lake Hopatcong, passed away at her residence on December 3, 2015 surrounded by her family and beloved dogs. Elaine was born in Plymouth, MA and lived in Sparta, NJ for 35 years before moving to Lake Hopatcong in 2000. She was a graduate of the Syracuse University, class of 1957 with a BS in Sociology. She was a member of the Alumni Association at Syracuse. Elaine was a stewardess for United Airlines from 1957-1962 and retired as an inside sales representative from Reliance Electric in Parsippany, NJ in 1995 after 15 years there. She is survived by her beloved daughter Katrina Thompson and her husband Jim of Lake Hopatcong; and devoted grandsons: Trevor J and Adam R. Thompson. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-7pm Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871.
