Sparta, NJ- Claire Theresa Schiemer (Lamartin) peacefully went home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Newton. She was 87. Claire was born in Hackensack, NJ to Frederick and Amelia (Hoeppner) Lamartin. She resided in Sparta for the past four years, living previously in Rochelle Park, NJ. Claire was a homemaker, who loved sewing, painting, cooking and singing. Her life was about spending quality time with her family. Predeceasing Claire is a brother, Frederick. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Richard Schiemer of Sparta. Her Son, Rick Schiemer (Diane) of Maywood, Four daughters, Susan Schwab(Fred) of Wayne Theresa Dodd(Robert) of Wyckoff, Patricia Untisz (John) of Middletown, NJ and Jean Kero(Jim) of Sparta. Fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and her sister, Jean Brumaghim. Family and friends are invited Friday 2~6 pm Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871.
