Frederick Charles Trudgeon

Frederick Charles Trudgeon, 91, of Ogdensburg, NJ passed away at his home on January 19, 2016. Fred was born in Sparta and was a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg. He was a proud member of the US Army serving during WWll and was a member of the Samaritan Lodge, #98 in Hardyston Township. Fred was a former member of the Ogdensburg Volunteer Fire Department and worked for the Sparta, Ogdensburg and Franklin Boards of Education as a school custodian. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Frederick is predeceased by his brother Edward and nephew Todd. He is survived by his sister June Trudgeon Emery and his brother Thomas B. Trudgeon. He was also the beloved uncle of John, Deborah, Nancy, Tom Jr, William and Tim. Friends may call Monday, January 25, from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral services and interment will be private.
