Gayle E Biggs

Sparta- Gayle Elaine Biggs, 67 years old and a resident of Sparta for 33 years, was carried by the angels to be in the Lord Jesus’ presence on November 6, 2016. She passed away peacefully at St Clare’s Compassionate Care Hospice Facility in Dover, NJ after a courageous fight with cancer. Born Gayle Elaine Richardson in Oroville, California to predeceased parents, Lowell and Edna Richardson, and sister Denise. She is survived by her sister Janet, brother Jim. Gayle grew up in Sacramento, California where she met and married her loving husband, Hank Biggs. Married for 46 wonderful years she leaves behind her children Kimberly and husband Chris, Allison and husband Brian, Travis and wife Molly, and 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 5 months to 25 years. Having a servant’s heart all of her life, Gayle dedicated herself to her family and church. Always putting others first was the way she lived her life. Everyone called her “Googy”, and she made birthdays and holidays for her grandkids unforgettable. She leaves behind a legacy of Christ’s pure love and hospitality. A celebration of her life will be held at the Sparta Evangelical Free Church Saturday, November 12 at 4:00 pm. Donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
