Lois Anna (nee Reinhard) Rekun, 82, of Sparta passed away on May 16, 2010 at Newton Memorial Hospital. Lois was born in her parents home in Franklin, and lived in Sparta since 1954. She was a longtime member of the Sparta Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leon “Archie” Rekun; her devoted son Neil Rekun and her beloved sister Adele Edsall. She is survived by her devoted children Janis Kirk and her husband Frederick, Wendy Sayre and her husband Brian, and Paul Rekun and his wife Heidi. Also survived by her beloved grandchildren Denton, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Michael, Zane, Tiffany, and Neil Charles and 3 beloved great grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday, May 19th from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday at the funeral home.
