Loretta Rowan

Loretta was born in Bayonne, NJ and was a resident of Jersey City, NJ. She worked at Western Electric in Kearny and at the American Can Company in Jersey City where she met her husband, Stephen Rowan.

She spent her summers in Sussex County NJ and enjoyed life at the lake. She loved the outdoors and was an avid walker. She also enjoyed bike riding, going out for a boat ride, spending time with family and friends and her dog. After the birth of her daughter Sharon, she became a homemaker, spending time taking her to dance classes, Girl Scouts, and music lessons. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Stephen Rowan as well as her siblings, Estelle, Margaret and John. She is survived by her daughter Sharon, son-in-law Frank (Campana) and grandchildren Stephen and Jennifer. She will be greatly missed by her family.

A visitation for will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 28, at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 South Sparta Avenue, Sparta, NJ 07871. An interment will Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
