Michael J Cordero Jr.

Michael grew up in Woodbridge NJ and was a proud veteran. Faithfully and honorably, he served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers during both the Vietnam War and Iraqi Freedom. Michael was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and recently retired. He was an active member of local veterans organizations and enjoyed being a member of the Tash Band.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Nena Cordero. He is survived by his loving wife AnnMarie Cordero, his brothers, Gary and his wife Janice, Ronald and Cheryl, his brother in law, Phil Demario, his Wife Saadia and Justan and Alicia Pavone and Philip DeMario Jr. along with many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visiting will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ with a prayer service beginning at 7:30pm. Burial will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in Michael’s memory be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter #1002 in Vernon, NJ.

**In order to maintain a sense of security for Michael’s family, they have requested that everyone attending the visiting wear a mask, refrain from physical contact, and maintain social distance.  Thank you in advance for honoring their wishes.
