Alice was born on October 26, 1943, in Cottonwood, Idaho, the 10th of 17 children (9 brothers, 8 sisters) to Zita and Lawrence Schmidt. She was married to James Peck on February 27, 1965, and settled in Veradale, WA when James retired from the Air Force. After James’ passing in August 2000, Alice moved to Tucson, AZ then Richland, WA to be closer to her daughters, before returning to the Spokane Valley. She was a devout Catholic and attended Saint Mary’s Church, where she was a member of the church choir.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and large family. The last few years were spent going on long drives, listening and singing to her favorite songs, looking through photo albums and fishing with her daughters. Alice is survived by her daughters, Angela Peck, Theresa (Brian) Malley, Belinda Peck, Becky Troyer, and Stephanie (Jake) Henry; her grandchildren Paton and Jenna Malley, Austin Mildebrandt, Katelyn, Rachel and Alex Troyer, Cynthia and Jenna Henry; and great grandchildren Braxton and Zoey Maltos.

A service will be held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99216 on Friday, November 4th at 1:30 PM
