James Othel Lloyd

He was born April 5,1940 in Galveston, Texas. He was a long-time resident of Hitchcock, Texas.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force and worked as a Carpenter for many years. He loved to bowl and go to the car races every Saturday night. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Linda Ranae Lloyd (Cindy’s mother), his parents Aubra & Edith Lloyd, his brother Thomas Lloyd and his sister-in-law LaVerne Lloyd.

Survivors include his children: Cindy Lloyd, Rachel Brown & husband George of Spokane Valley, WA. Shawn Morris & wife Shellie of Bremerton, WA. Carrie Smith & husband Chad of Wapato, WA. and their mother Diane Smith of Valleyford, WA.

His Grandchildren: Trent Romano & wife Macy, Emalie, Jacob & Mason Koestner, Ashlyn, Aubra & Alexander Morris & Cole, Conrad & Alaina Clements.

His two great grandchildren: Hartley Faye & Cassie Ranae Romano

His brother Charles Lloyd and his nieces Kathy Burd & Linda Ranae Lloyd-Graf (named after his first wife).

A Memorial Service & Visitation with the family will be on November 22, 2025, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA
