Jeffrey Jeff Scott Bliesner

Jeff graduated from Central Valley High School in 1981 and went on to attend Wenatchee Valley College and Eastern Washington University. While in high school, Jeff wrestled, participated in track, and played football. Here he became an avid football player and was a part of the All- GSL (Greater Spokane League) in high school. He played football while attending Wenatchee Valley College and while at Eastern he wrestled and played rugby. Jeff remained athletic all of his school years and he had a true life-long love for football.

Later in life, Jeff met the love of his life, Lori Cogswell, and they spent a wonderful ten years together enjoying each other as well as their shared interest of football. It was at this time that Jeff gained two amazing daughters, Ashley and Anna. He and Lori were finally married August 17, 2012.

He was a custodian for many years working for the West Valley School District. In addition to football (his team being the NY Giants), he loved old movies and history. Jeff had a great sense of humor always and a great sense of fun.

He is survived by wife, Lori Cogswell-Bliesner; daughters Ashley and Anna Howard, and pets Thomas, Sammy, and Carson. Also surviving are mom, Marge Bliesner; brother, Bill (Jennifer) Bliesner and their family; sister, Kathy (Larry) Montague and their family; brother, David Bliesner and sons; sister, Jennifer Clarry and sons; sister, Lisa (Dennis) Rancorn.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00am at Advent Lutheran Church in Spokane Valley, 13009 E Broadway Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99216. Memorial Contributions may be made in Jeff’s name to the local organization Partners For Pets, 8901 E Trent Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99212.
