Age 71
Jensena Margaret Brodie was born January 19, 1942 in Chewelah, WA to Marshall and Hilda (Carlson) Cornwall, and passed away on June 15, 2013.
Jensena spent 35 years in the Nursing field and worked most of those years at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA. Many of the years, she also served as a WSNA (Washington State Nurses Association) board member.
She spent 10 years traveling with her husband, Jim, while he was in the Air Force; and they then retired in the Spokane area where they raised their two children, Joanne and John. Jensena was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jim Brodie, and her father, who passed away in 1998.
Jensena is survived by her mother, Hilda Cornwall; children, Joanne Herfurth, and John Brodie; brother, Allen Cornwall and his wife, Jeanette; and sister, Carol Mawdsley; grandchildren, Jason Herfurth and Karen Herfurth; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at 1:00pm at the Cedonia Church, 4562 South Highway 25, Hunters, WA, 99137.
