Kim Bright

Kim passed away on March 12th, 2012 in her home after losing her battle with cancer. She was born on February 13th, 1959 to Darrell and Myrna Blatter in Glasgow, Montana. Kim grew up in Great Falls, MT, and it is there she met and married her high school sweetheart, Scott Bright. They were married for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Bright, her father, Darrell Blatter, father-in-law Lee Bright, and niece Annalicia Malley. She is survived by her sons Jason (Rachel) Bright of Helena, MT, and Jeremy (Heidi) Bright of Renton, WA; grandchildren Quinn and Brady Bright of Helena, MT and Kayden Bright of Renton, WA; She is also survived by her mother, Myrna Blatter, of Great Falls, MT; sisters Tracy Malley of Spokane, WA, Jody Malsam, of Great Falls, MT, and a brother, Darrell Blatter, Jr. of Great Falls, MT, as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Kim graduated in 1977 from Great Falls High School. In 1984 she and her family moved to Spokane where she and Scott raised their two boys, cheering them on in their various sporting activities. Summers were enjoyed by recreating at the St. Joe River at the family property, where a dull moment was never had. Her smile and laugh could light up a room, and she will be greatly missed by family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 17th in the Colonial Chapel at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA .
