Mark Edward Anderson

(Age 70)

Went to be with his Lord on September 10, 2023. The son of Wesley B. Anderson and Alice M. Henrikson Anderson, Mark grew up in the Spokane Valley, graduating from Central Valley High School and Eastern Washington University. Mark was raised working in the family businesses, Early Dawn Dairy and the much-loved Ice Creamery Restaurants. Mark’s day job was working for a credit union, but his passion was sports. A highlight for him was managing the baseball team while a student at Central Valley High School. He faithfully followed the Seahawks, Mariners, Spokane Indians, Eastern Washington Eagles, and Gonzaga Bulldogs, along with all the professional sports teams, in victory and defeat. Mark worshipped online every Sunday with Dishman Baptist Church in Spokane Valley, Moody Bible Church in Chicago, and Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. He is survived by his brother, Dale Barnes-Anderson (Sherbonné) of San Francisco, his nephew, Ellis MacDonald Barnes-Anderson of Spokane; and many cousins.
