Mary Ann Davidson

On August 24, 2015 the world lost an amazing wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Mary Ann Davidson. Mary was born the oldest of nine siblings on August 19, 1940 in Teton, Idaho to Mary Thea Larson and Stewart Brown. She met the love of her life, Wayne Davidson in Superior, Montana and they just celebrated 57 wonderful years of marriage on August 16. Together they had three children, Steven Wayne Davidson, Vicki Lee Davidson Porter and Leann Dawn Davidson. Family was everything to Mary. Being the big sister of a large family she had soft shoulders to cry on, great ears for listening, open arms for hugs and above all a smile that would melt your heart to assure us that all will be good. Mary was preceded in death by her father Stewart Brown; mother Mary Ives; stepdad Raymond Ives; sister Carrie Brumley; son Steve; and daughter Leann. She is survived by her husband Wayne Davidson; daughter Vicki (Scott) Porter; granddaughter Emma Porter; grandson Erik Porter; brother Dave (Cindy) Brown of Missoula, MT; sister Brenda (David) Payne of Moreland, ID; brother Ted (Sheila) Orgill of Rigby, ID; sister Bettyrae Jordon of New Orleans, LA; brothers Frank (Debby) Ives and Chuck (Colleen) Ives both of Hamilton, MT; sister Trina Brooks of Blanchard, ID plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all of whom she loved with all of her heart. Wayne and Vicki would like to thank the staff of Horizon Hospice and Lauren Valle from Senior Helpers. With their love and dedication we were able to have more time with our Mom of which we will be forever grateful! A viewing will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 8:30am, followed by a service beginning at 9:30am at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
