Mildred Maryetta Steer

STEER, Mildred “Millie” Maryetta Pritchard – Age 90 passed away peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on September 9, 2016 in Spokane, WA surrounded by her family. Millie was born on September 27, 1925. She lived in much of her younger years Three Rivers, CA. She loved spending time in Sequoias and the Mineral King area of California. She was a country girl at heart. Millie loved being a mother and homemaker. Everyone would agree that she was a sweet, kind and loving individual with a great sense of humor. Millie was preceded in death by her first husband Earl F. Spotts in 1961 and her second husband Harry Steer in 2006.

She is survived by her four children, Carol Glashoff of Monterey, CA., Julia Stevens (Don) of Spokane, WA, Loree Poutre of Olympia, WA and Dan Steer (Janeen) of Spokane. She has 8 grandchildren, Cristy Mehringer (Jason) of Monterey, CA, Molly Volkmann (Tanler) of Valencia, CA, Lindsay Beal (Jay) of Spokane Valley, WA, Noah Poutre (Sarah) of Mill Creek, WA, Jake Poutre of Olympia, WA, Jonah Steer, Avery Steer an Asher Steer all of Spokane, WA. Her great grandchildren are Tylor Mehringer, Eliot, Owen and Alivia Beal, Cohen, and Poppi Poutre, Wylder and Walker Volkmann.

The family would like to thank Horizon Hospice for the loving care and support they provided in her last days.
