Long time Valley resident and business woman Pearl Crocker passed away at the Guardian Angel Homes Facility in Liberty Lake, WA on December 23, 2013. Pearl was born and raised in Anatone, WA where she went to both grade and high school. Upon graduation she moved to Lewiston, ID to attend Business College. While working at her first job there, she met her future husband Floyd “Spud” Crocker. They married and shortly thereafter moved to Spokane and later to Spokane Valley, where they raised their family and Pearl resided for over 50 years. She is survived by daughters Colleen Kagele and Lori Knauss, son Robert Crocker, brother John Pederson, sister Jewel Knight, as well as four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, plus numerous nieces and nephews. She was active in the family business and after Spud died in 1974 she continued the business and later operated an antique shop and was involved in several real estate ventures. She will always be remembered for her love of Western Dancing and antiques. Pearl was a member of the Valley Eagles Auxiliary.
A memorial service will be held at the Thornhill Valley Chapel on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Please join Pearl’s family in this celebration of her life.
