Ammar Lewis Johnson was born in Spokane, WA, on July 6, 1993, and passed on March 2, 2022. He was born to the parents of Gloria and Richard Sanford and was the youngest of five kids. He graduated from Lewis and Clark High school in 2012 and worked for Dump N Junk for seven years.
Ammar had a beautiful soul. He was kind and caring and would give you the shirt off his back. If you ask him for help, he would be there with no questions asked. All you have to do is just let him know a date and time and he was there. Ammar was a very athletic kid as well as an adult. He enjoyed being involved in sports like Basketball, Wrestling, Track and Field, Snowboarding, and his favorite was Football. He enjoyed being around loved ones and friends. His smile was infectious, big, beautiful and he will be missed dearly.
Ammar is survived by his parents Gloria and Richard Sanford of Spokane WA, his brother Benny Johnson, his sister Tavia Johnson all of Spokane WA, and Brandie Flood of Seattle, WA. His aunt Jerry Johnson, cousins Steve Johnson, Shunn Johnson, Greg Hatter all of Spokane, WA. His nephews LaDarius Johnson, Kwame Qadir and Benny Johnson IV all of Spokane, WA. His nieces Kiara Johnson, Zariah Whitsett of Spokane WA, and Robbi Lee of Seattle, WA. Great-nieces Akira Lawson and Khamiyah Hillyard of Spokane, WA. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Ammer Gene Jordan, his grandfather Steve Lewis and his sister Sherrell Sanford.
The Viewing will be held on March 18, 2022, from 4-8 pm. The Funeral Services will be held on March 19, 2022, at 11:00 am at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home 5100 W. Wellesley Ave. Spokane, WA 99205. Pastor James Watkins will Officiate.
