Dorothy was the apartment manager of the building where I was living.  I kept in touch with her after moving to another location.  Sometimes we would take a drive and go up to Sandpoint, Id to see the Christmas Store where we would each get some pretty ornaments.  She would send her selections to her grandchildren at Christmas time.   I kept my pretty ornaments.   we would then eat lunch at Connie's restaurant there in Sandpoint  before returning to Spokane.
