Eugene “Gene” Walter Davis passed away September 1, 2010 in Spokane, WA. He was born in Post Falls, ID on March 26, 1919 to Ramona and Walter Davis, the oldest of three sons (Ronald and Glen have preceded him in death). Mr. Davis was a World War II veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a Spokane Masonic Lodge Past Grand Master, and retired following many years with the U. S. Post Office in Spokane. His wife, Ruth, passed away May 14, 2008. He is survived by three daughters, Sally Savage of Selah, WA, Sharon Drost of Yakima, WA, Roxie Champagne of Deer Park, WA; as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is missed and loved by all. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St.
