

LEHMAN, George J. (Age 83) Born on July 25, 1928 to George and Elizabeth Lehman in St. Paul MN. Passed away at home in Spokane, WA on October 3, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Nadine Robinson Oldham Lehman; son, Greg Lehman (Shelley) of Petaluma CA; daughters, Robin Lucero (Anthony) of Novato, CA, Teresa Downs (Mike) of Spokane, WA, Renee Way ( Wayne) of St. George, SC; stepson, Steven Oldham (Deborah) of Manassas VA; granddaughter, Christine Jensen (Galen) of Livermore CA; grandson, Lucas Lehman of Petaluma, CA; brothers, Gilbert Lehman (Jean) and Jim Lehman; sisters, Audrey Zummach (Paul), Lois Carlson (Roger), and Carol Blumberg. George is preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Bob Lehman and mother-in-law, Leslie Robinson. George was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for 23 years. He specialized in communications. After retiring he worked in the Army Depot in Sacramento, CA for another 20 years. He returned to the Spokane area in 1992 to bring his loving wife back home to the beautiful city where she had been raised. Once retired, he enjoyed restoring old furniture and sold antiques in Hilliard. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed sadly by his family. Visitation will be Friday October 7, 2011 from 2-8 P.M. Funeral Service at 12:30 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
