Jan passed away peacefully Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Spokane. Born July 17, 1936 to Paul and Rose (Boehm) Bennett. She enjoyed attending church, entertaining, cooking and traveling. She is survived by her husband Garry, her children Lee and Stacy, step-children Maria and Dave Smith, Shaun and Angel Mueller; and her grandchildren: Tara, Lucas, Joshua, Shylah, Brett, Christopher, Erica and Briana; her sisters Patty, Karen and Doris; numerous nieces and nephews. Jan was preceded in death by her brother and sister Bob and Joyce and two of her daughters Jenny and Lori. The family wishes to extend gratitude to Whispering Pines and Gentiva Hospice. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 910 W 5th Ave, Spokane WA 99204. Family services will be held in Minnesota at a later date.
