Heaven welcomed home another angel, our beautiful sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, Judy Thomson-Winterowd. Judy was born to parents Walter and Margaret Knudsen in Colfax, WA on December 21, 1943… and grew up in Sunset, WA. She graduated from St John High School in 1962.
Judy married the love of her life, Ray Winterowd, on February 27, 2015.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Christina Bemiss and Jean Carpenter, her brother Levi Knudsen, and grandson Monte Thomson Jr. Judy is survived by her husband, two sisters, two brothers, three children David Thomson, Monte Thomson, and Tonya Karunaratne, a granddaughter Kirsten Thomson, four grandsons, and three great-grandchildren.
Judy was a beautiful person inside and out and had a heart of gold. She loved her family wholeheartedly and enjoyed her many adventures. She will never be forgotten yet forever missed.
A celebration of life will be held with immediate family and close friends in attendance. Judy will be cremated and her ashes spread in places that brought her the most joy.
