

She is survived by her loving husband Jim Pelfrey, her pup dog Zoey, children Machelle Matzdorff (Steve), Carla White (Kevin), Sherri Kamerer (Rob), Chad Kinder ( Wendi) three Step daughters Shannon Pelfrey, Kori Smith, and Robin Pelfrey, 17 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren who all loved her dearly.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Norma Bennett and her son Mark Lee Kinder.
Karen was born on April 5, 1945 in Spokane Washington to Louis and Norma Bennett. She attended Arlington Elementary, Shaw Jr. High and John R. Rogers High School. Karen worked at Sacred Heart Hospital, Montgomery Wards (17 yrs), Mar Lac Distributing, Hallmark, Curves, and Rockwood at Hawthorne.
Karen Loved the Lord and her family and cherished family holidays, B.B.Q’s with Corn Hole tournaments, trips that she and Jim took on their Honda Goldwing motorcycle, Winters in Arizona, the Zags, and attending her home church at New Creation Fellowship.
She will be missed dearly by her family and friends and all those who had the honor of meeting this beautiful lady. Karen’s prayer was that ALL her family would come to know the Lord and meet with her someday in Heaven. Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:16
In Life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else will ever fill. Rest easy in the arms of Jesus, until we meet again.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 2pm to 6pm at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane 99205.
Memorial Service will be at 1pm on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at New Creation Fellowship, 1515 E. Farwell Rd., Spokane 99208.
