Kathleen M. Dunbar

DUNBAR, Kathleen M. (Jones) passed away July 24, 2010 in Spokane, WA at the age of 89. She was born December 6, 1920 in Grimsby, England and came to the United Sates with her parents in 1924, settling in Ogden, UT where she was raised and schooled. She graduated from Weber St. College and was employed as a civilian personnel manager at Hill Air Force Base. Kathleen and Lon Dunbar were married for all time and eternity in the Logan Temple April 16, 1946. Kathleen served in many leadership positions in the LDS Church. She managed the Bee Hive Clothing Center and served with Lon as a temple worker for many years. She served the Lord by serving others. Kathleen is survived by two daughters, Margene Davis and husband Randy of Spokane Valley, WA and Julie Geiger of Spokane; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Jones of Ogden, UT. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lon Dunbar (Nov. 2009). Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 801 East Sitka, with viewing at the church beginning at 10 AM.
