Mark Steven Perry

Mark Steven Perry passed away at the age of 51 after a courageous 11 month battle with cancer on April 7, 2011 at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA. He is survived by wife, Glenda; his children, Alicia and Brad, all of Spokane, WA; and his sister, Linda Tedsen, of Grants Pass, OR. He was born on August 28, 1959. He was preceded in death by parents, Nicholas and Barbara.

Mark grew up in Crescent City, CA, graduating from Del Norte County High in 1977. Beginning work for General Mills when he was 26, he became a highly appreciated employee, and with tenacity and optimism who continued to provide for his family until the day of his passing. Mark’s vibrance and humor influenced others. He enjoyed heartfelt closeness with family and friends, sharing stories, golfing, running, working out at the gym and playing guitar, as well as sharing his understanding of Christ’s love for others.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA. Mark’s heart was moved with compassion for children with cancer. To honor his wishes, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
