Mary A. Rison

Mary A. Rison (age 78) went to be with the Lord April 7, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leonard Rison of Spokane; six children, Lester Rison (Susan) of Medical Lake, WA, Charles Rison (Carollynn) of Spokane, WA, Leonard Rison, Jr. of Spokane, Kenneth Rison (Lori) of Greenacres, WA, Jeannine McIntyre (Patrick) of North Pole, AK, Nancey Rison-Sanford (Gene) of Spokane; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Elmer Reed of Portland, OR, Ervin Reed of Otis Orchards, WA, Donnie Reed of Newman Lake, WA, Ben Reed of Texas; three sisters, Zella Parris of Richland, WA, Dorothy Butler of Texas, Grace Waltz of Spokane; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Jason Means and a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Rison. Mrs. Rison was born August 7, 1931 in Manito, IL and has lived in the Spokane area most of her life. She had been the church secretary at Shadle Park Church of the Nazarene, and attended Shadle Park and First Church of the Nazarene for many years. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 7 PM at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St. Memorial Services will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
